WEEK 1: POSSESSION & PASSING SESSIONS (ADVANCED)
The sessions in week one will accelerate the development of your players passing skills FAST! They will learn to generate team possession and switch positions on the pitch to create space and open up. The exercises are structured in a progression format to train your players to keep the ball, find teammates easily, move to open space and escape the opponent's mark. -
WEEK 2: FREE MAN RUNS IN THE FINAL THIRD (ADVANCED)
Week two starts with a 2 vs 2 with a third free player in the final third who must be included in the attack in several different situations. In these sessions, players are in encouraged to pass direct and also encouraged to switch play across the field. These sessions progress further to condition players to attack the space they have created by manipulating play, finally allowing players to test their end product, shooting on goal. -
WEEK 3: OVERLAPPING RUNS & FINISHING (ADVANCED)
In the third week of sessions the players skills of wide possession play are challenged. The Sessions are 3 vs 3 and scenarios and problems must be solved with a series of overlapping support runs. Free players must give support to the overlapping players. These sessions finish with a scoring attempt on goal. -
WEEK 4: ADVANCING UP THE FIELD (ADVANCED)
A question asked by coaches is, where is the depth in soccer? Is it in the fields dimensions or is it over the last player of the attacking phase? The sessions in week four start with a simple exercise to find end zones in the corners of the pitch and quickly add progressions that teach players how to play using depth, getting out of tough situations in the back field by using wall passes. -
